AI-safe YADL profile
Use the constrained, certified YADL subset for dependable machine-authored explanatory visuals.
AI-safe YADL profile
ai-safe-yadl-v1 is a deliberately narrow profile for machine-authored YADL. It is not a replacement for the full syntax and capability reference: it selects the source forms that have canonical templates, deterministic validation, checked renderer frames, and explicit browser/export qualification commands.
Use this profile when
- An integration needs predictable, editable explanatory visuals.
- The source must be self-contained and safe to validate without resolving external dependencies.
- A square 1080 × 1080, 30fps, ten-second MP4 is appropriate.
Start from one of the five canonical families: architecture, comparison, process flow, step-by-step, or timeline. They are stored as source-backed recipes, not public templates.
Allowed surface
- One scene with one nested diagram and one timeline.
- Text and element-card nodes, smooth-step edges, authored light branding, and
fadeInreveal actions. - At most 64 KB of source.
- Explicit 1080 × 1080
export videoconfiguration, 30fps MP4, and exactly ten seconds of story time.
Dependency boundary
The profile rejects imports, catalog dependencies, remote assets, and fonts other than the local recipe declaration of Arial. It also rejects charts, media, icons, reusable components, raw SVG, custom GSAP, narration, and presenter cues. Those may be valid full-language YADL, but are outside this certification.
Validate and certify
Validate a candidate source with:
pnpm agents:baseline:validate path/to/document.yadlRun the deterministic profile gate with:
pnpm agents:ai-safe:checkThat gate verifies the canonical source checksums, dependency boundary, semantic validation, headless renderer checkpoints, pinned runtime identity, and the generated browser language worker. Browser Pixi preview and real MP4 export remain explicit topology qualifications:
pnpm --filter @yadl/e2e test -- agent-baseline.spec.ts
node scripts/verify-agent-baseline-videos.mjsThe profile manifest and canonical recipe metadata are source-controlled in this repository. Use the Agent API for integration workflows and structured diagnostics.
