Export video

Prepare, submit, monitor, download, or remove a YADL video export from your account.

Export video

Use Export Video in the editor menu when a visual needs to become a shareable animated file. Video exports are account-only and run in the background, so you can leave the editor and return to your export history later. For a still image of the canvas or current timeline frame, use Export image.

Choose output settings

Give an unsaved document a name, then select the available output options. YADL can offer MP4, MOV, WEBM, GIF, and WEBP output; available choices depend on your active plan and the current export policy.

The export dialog can include these framing presets:

  • Landscape HD
  • Square
  • Vertical
  • Instagram Reels
  • YouTube Shorts
  • LinkedIn Vertical

Choose Fast when speed is more important than encoding quality, or High when the available policy permits a higher-quality output. Resolution options can range through 720p, 1080p, and 4K when your plan and the selected preset allow them. The dialog is authoritative for the combinations available to your account.

Check readiness, quota, and retention

Before submission, resolve every readiness message shown in the export dialog. A video export needs valid YADL source, a video-export configuration, a positive timeline duration, and a frame compatible with the selected output.

The dialog also shows the quota bucket used by the selected export, including available, reserved, and projected remaining capacity. YADL reserves quota when a request is accepted. A completed export settles that reservation; a cancelled or final failed export releases the reserved capacity according to the active policy.

Completed and active exports can also occupy retention capacity. If the dialog says no retention slot is available, delete an older completed export you no longer need, then try again.

Submit an export

An export request saves the current document snapshot first. Changing the editor afterward does not rewrite an export already in progress.

Select Export Video after the dialog reports that the document is ready and capacity is available. The request is queued for background processing. Keep the export page open only if you want to watch progress; closing the editor does not cancel an accepted request.

Follow, preview, download, or delete

Open Exports from the editor menu or your account to see each export's status:

  • Queued: accepted and waiting for processing.
  • Processing: YADL is rendering the export.
  • Uploading: the completed file is being stored for you.
  • Completed: preview and download are available to the owning account.
  • Failed or cancelled: no completed file is available for that attempt.

Completed exports can be previewed, downloaded, or deleted from the owner-scoped export page. Delete an export when you no longer need its stored output or need to free retention capacity. A final failure shows a safe diagnostic reference to include in a support request.

For browser alerts, read Notifications. For unavailable export choices or a failed request, follow the decision guide in Help and troubleshooting.

Export an image

Save the current YADL canvas or timeline frame as PNG, JPEG, WEBP, or SVG from the editor.
