Animate and export

Prepare a video frame

Set up a YADL document for an animated video export with the right frame and timeline.

Prepare a video frame

YADL turns a visual document into a video export when the document has a valid video configuration, a positive duration, and a frame compatible with the selected export preset.

Set up the frame

Use the video-frame control in the canvas toolbar to create or fit the document frame. When a frame exists, you can preview-crop the canvas so content outside that frame is excluded from the video output.

Choose the video preset that matches where people will watch it: landscape for a wide presentation, square for compact social or embedded use, and a vertical preset for vertical channels. The export dialog shows the exact output dimensions for the selected preset and resolution.

Check readiness before export

Video export requires:

  1. Valid YADL source.
  2. A video-export configuration and compatible frame.
  3. A positive timeline or scene duration.
  4. Export settings your current plan allows.

YADL checks these conditions in the editor and repeats them against the saved document before creating an export. Resolve every visible issue before submitting.

Use Timeline to set the sequence and Export video for the queued export workflow.

Work with audio

Understand audio playback and timeline waveform behavior in YADL visual documents.

Export an image

Save the current YADL canvas or timeline frame as PNG, JPEG, WEBP, or SVG from the editor.
