Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 7, 2026
These terms govern access to and use of YADL, a document-first visual platform operated by YADL.
1. Agreement and eligibility
By accessing or using YADL, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the License, and any plan-specific terms shown before purchase. You confirm that you can form a binding agreement. If you use YADL for an organisation, you confirm that you can accept these Terms for that organisation.
2. The service
YADL lets users create editable visual documents, including diagrams, infographics, presentations, templates, and exportable visual output. Features may vary by plan, document, browser, region, and availability. We may improve, modify, or retire features where reasonably necessary, while respecting any mandatory rights that apply to you.
3. Accounts, local workspaces, and security
You are responsible for keeping account information accurate, protecting credentials, and activity performed through your account. Some anonymous editor work may be stored only in your browser; clearing browser storage, changing devices, or using private browsing can remove it. Sign in and save work to use account-based storage where available. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you create or upload. You grant YADL the limited rights needed to host, process, render, back up, secure, and deliver that content and requested exports. You are responsible for ensuring that your content, instructions, names, trademarks, media, and distribution comply with applicable law and third-party rights.
You must not upload unlawful, infringing, confidential-without-authorisation, malicious, or harmful material. We may remove or restrict content when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or enforcement of these Terms.
5. Templates, components, and third-party material
Catalog templates and components remain subject to the access level and permissions shown in the service. Using a template creates an editable copy; it does not transfer ownership of the catalog source. Do not redistribute protected catalog resources as standalone templates, component libraries, or competing services. Open-source and third-party materials remain subject to their applicable licences.
6. Exports and technical limitations
Exports are asynchronous requests. Availability, format, resolution, duration, quality, and usage allowance depend on the selected plan, the document, and current service limits. Rendering may fail because of invalid source, unsupported content, third-party dependencies, plan limits, or service conditions. You must review exported output before relying on or publishing it; YADL does not guarantee that every browser preview, third-party asset, or export will be error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.
7. Plans, fees, and renewal
Current plan features, usage limits, billing intervals, and prices are displayed on Pricing before purchase. Paid subscriptions renew for the selected interval unless cancelled before the applicable renewal date. Taxes, currency conversion, and payment-provider charges may apply where disclosed. Plan changes affect future access and usage as described in the service.
8. Payments, cancellations, and refunds
Payments may be processed through Zoho, Razorpay, or another disclosed provider. The merchant is YADL; your statement may show “YADL”. Use only the provider's secure checkout and never send payment credentials by email or support chat. Cancellation and refund requests are governed by the Cancellation and Refund Policy, subject to applicable law.
9. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service unlawfully, fraudulently, or in a way that infringes rights or harms others.
- Do not interfere with the service, introduce malware, bypass access controls, probe systems, or attempt unauthorised access.
- Do not share account access contrary to your plan, impersonate another person, or use another user's account without permission.
- Do not scrape, bulk extract, reproduce, reverse engineer, or use protected service or catalog content to build a competing product, except where applicable law cannot be excluded.
- Do not use automated requests in a way that degrades the service or circumvents quotas, rate limits, or payment controls.
10. Feedback and communications
If you provide feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not identify you without permission. We may send service, security, billing, and legal notices electronically to your account email or through the service. Marketing communications remain subject to your applicable choices.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, fraud, security risk, non-payment, legal requirement, or protection of users and the service. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including payment obligations, intellectual-property restrictions, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms, continue to apply.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every browser or third-party service, error-free exports, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Our total liability for claims relating to a paid service is limited to the amount you paid for that service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where law prohibits them.
14. Governing law, complaints, and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory consumer protections and any non-waivable law that applies to you. For a concern, first use Support or the Grievance Redressal process. We may update these Terms prospectively; we will post the updated version and revise the date above. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms where permitted by law.
